Anyways, stolid QB warhorse Brett Favre looks ready to retire, at least according to ESPN.com. And why not? The guy’s a cinch for the hall of fame after 17 seasons and numerous records. And he’s thrown for 61,655 yards, which is like heaving a football to Barrie from the middle of Nathan Phillips Square. I think he’s earned a little rest.
Still, sorry to see Favre go. He was a great football player and a class act. And he looked darn good in yellow and green.
