Mmmmm...
Thanks a lot. Now I have a craving for MacDonalds.
Is the Shamrock Shake still around?

The egg mcmuffin is the saving grace of a touring musician. Just tasty enough to enjoy, greasy enough to cure the hangover from that last beer you didn't really ned to have after you packed up, and containing enough protein via the egg to convince yourself you're eating "healthy". Somewhat.

when i was a kid we lived in zambia, which at the time was not rife with mcdonalds (i have no idea of the mcdonald situation there these days).

but, as a bunch of enterprising north americans, there were occasionally weekend breakfasts at people's houses with things that vaguely resembled the egg mcmuffin. although, now that i think about it, i'm not sure how easy it was to get english muffins there, nor do i actually remember any processed cheese, so, yeah, it would have been a pretty bastardized version. but, you know, adversity leads to creativity. ;)

Herb was a great guy. Millions have him to thank for being able to get more than a cup of coffee on the way to work.

[It's "Peterson," BTW.]
