I bought this product last week. It is a great mp3 player but almost unusable when using it as a xm walkman due to the poor reception. I believe they are coming out with an antenna on the headphones to help improve this issue. Until they do I just load music from my computer and listen to that on my walks

Not sure about your experiences - recieved one for Christmas and I live in Southern Ontario - no issues with reception outdoors - even took it in the car without the car kit - was able to get a full signal about 70 percent of the time will driving down the 401 towards London (again, with no car kit, just the units antenna). Inside, I get a signal (full) in my living room with the unit sitting on the fireplace mantel - the antenna from the home kit is at least 6' from the closest window. From the ipod aspect, I have one - don't expect a satellite radio to replace all of the ipods features - so in a nutshell, it works for me......

Just an opinion........

They sent me one as well, and I'm also a Mac user. I wonder what percentage of the people who got them were the same? ;)

Not true. They want honest reviews. I did a product review on my blog awhile back and was just moderately positive and I haven't been swag blacklisted yet.

"3 Pillars of iPodishness"??!?!? OUSA applauds this form of measurement.

Also...good review, but i agree that you have just killed your chances at cooler swag in the future.

As an honest reviewer, are you sending the product back to the vendor now? ;-)

You failed the test. You could've sold out and given a grand review of the product, thereby ensuring many future products sent your way for free. Instead, you chose to be honest. You've aborted your career as a product reviewer.
