In my daily quest to bring you the freshest, most random morsels from the interwebs, I read a lot of RSS feeds. I mean, a lot. And, over the weeks and months, some unintentionally funny things keep cropping up in headlines. Number one among these are articles from the BBC or EducationGuardian, featuring the UK's Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families. This fellow is a hard-working politician who also happens to be named 'Ed Balls'.
C'mon. That's pretty funny. A bit sophomoric, perhaps, but I defy you to read the headline "Too Many Weak Schools, Says Balls" or "Balls Unveils Plans on Drop-Out Teenagers" or even "Cheating Teachers not Widespread, says Balls" and not giggle.
