Reason #46,578 why Iron Maiden rocks: custom tour jet

20080317_iron02.jpg Man, I love Iron Maiden. In addition to recording some of the most gleefully cheesy and hard-rockin' songs of recent memory, beyond their 14 album-and-28-year career, they also travel the globe in a custom painted 757. Piloted by their lead singer. No kidding, Bruce Dickinson is a bona-fide pilot. Talk about a frontman.

Check out BlogTO for more photos of 'Ed Force One' (named after the band's mascot, Eddie the Head). Also check out photog Tom Podolec for some pretty rockin' aircraft shots.

And, because it totally kicks ass, watch the video for "Number of the Beast".
